Vita Nova residents receive generous blanket donation

The residents of the Vita Nova Centre received 130 blankets from students and staff of the Enderun College, in Geduld, yesterday (May 27).

Educator Ayesha Lambat says it was difficult to find a charity organisation of their choice, but when they were told that Vita Nova is in dire need of assistance they decided to give the donation to the centre.

The centre’s assistant director, Marina Potgieter, was impressed with the students who accompanied the educators.

They were taken on a tour of the premises and its facilities.

Marina says the residents will be warm under their new fluffy blankets during the cold winter nights.
