Verbal Warning claim victory over Mambas
Tsakane - The Tsamaya league game between Mambas and Verbal Warning took place at the Extension Eight Grounds last Sunday.
Verbal Warning made it clear they were there for victory, and Jabulani Zwela (38) scored the first goal only minutes into the game.
Mambas proved to be unprepared during the first half, and missed out on open goal opportunities.
Verbal Warning seized every opportunity to get the ball into the net.
Before the end of the first half, Verbal Warning were leading 2-0.
All hope was not lost for the Mambas, however, and they scored twice in the second half.
The goals were scored by Linda Tlale (37) and Innocent Sambo (36).
Fans were convinced the match would end in a draw.
Matthews Mthetwa (37) for Verbal Warning changed this when he scored the third goal for the side.
The game ended in 3-2, pushing Verbal Warning to second position on the log.
