Man dies after crashing into wall
KwaThema - A man was killed after crashing into a wall on Sunday morning.
The accident took place at around 2am along Kgaswane Street in KwaThema.
According to Ekurhuleni Metro Police Department spokesman Chief Supt Wilfred Kgasago, the driver of a car crashed into the wall of a house and died on the scene.
Kgasago says the driver first hit the speed hump in the road before colliding with a rock.
“The car over-turned, hit the pavement and then hit the wall of two houses in the street,” he says.
He continues to explain that the deceased was trapped inside the vehicle and that emergency services had to use the jaws of life to extricate him.
A case of culpable homicide is being investigated by KwaThema police.
