Sanco addresses community challenges
KwaThema - The South African National Civic Organisation (Sanco) held a Regional General Council meeting with the provincial leadership of the organisation at Zimisele Primary School on Sunday.
According to the branch secretary of ward 77, Nicholas Mbatha, the aim of the meeting was to develop the organisation to be better equipped to deal with issues faced by the community.
Mbatha adds service delivery and illegal housing evictions are the main issues the organisation has focused on.
Deputy chairperson of Ward 77 Wilson Busakwe says the organisation will, this year, be fighting issues such as crime, the challenges faced by child-headed families and other social issues.
