Zamani woes come to an end

KwaThema -Gauteng MEC for Education Panyaza Lesufi was at Zamani Primary School yesterday (Sunday) to address the issues at the school.

An investigation into alleged mismanagement at the school has been finalised.

This follows a series of meetings with parents and all parties involved.

Lesufi promised that by 11am today (Monday) reports on the outcome will be available.

It has been alleged that some staff members will be dismissed from the school.

Some parents, however, are still displeased and claim they only want the principal and deputy principal to be removed from the school.

Parents have threatened to take their children out of the school if the principal is not dismissed.

Lesufi promised that the school will be monitored on a regular basis, so educators do their jobs and children get the education they deserve.
