Educator from Khangezile Primary School, Thokozile Mabena attained second position at provincial level.
According to principal George Skaka, Mabena entered the awards at district level where she obtained first position.
She then proceeded to the second phase of the competition at cluster level and obtained first place again in the second round, says Skaka.
Skaka explains,the Department of Education Head Office officials came to the school to do verification before the awards where she attained second place at provincial level.
Skaka says as a school they are proud of her and congratulate her.
Mabena says she is delighted with her achievement and did not expect to win a 40 inch television set.
She says she dedicates these awards to her learners.
