Youth encouraged to start businesses

The young entrepreneur and an author, Tshepo Mmolawa (22) says he wants to help the youth to become the future business owners.

The 22-year-old from KwaThema Extension Two resident is also a leadership consultant and a motivational speaker.

He owns the Business People vs Entrepreneurs organisation, which he started five years ago.

Tshepo shared his story of trying to make end meets at home and the challenges that he faced along the way.

He said trying to make it in the business world was extremely difficult for him being a boy from the township with no experience in the business industry.

“The difficulties that I came across were worth it, as they built my character and gave me the love to help the youth to prosper without experiencing the challenges that I did,” Tshepo said.

To fulfil the dreams of the young people who are passionate about starting their own business but struggling with finance, Tshepo will host a business talk session.

The session will allow the up and coming business owners to present their business ideas.

The best business idea will be selected to receive a financial support from Business people vs Entrepreneurs organisation.

Tshepo will coach the selected business while also training the owners on necessary business skills until the business grows bigger and stronger.

The session will take place on November 29 at Mnafu street in Langaville Extension Four from 2pm until 5pm.
