Jack to run in Soweto Marathon

Duduza athlete, Jack Serame (27), made his home town proud in April last year after he won a silver medal during the Two Oceans Marathon in Cape Town.

After failing to compete in the Gauteng Marathon last month due to a knee injury, Jack says he is ready for the Soweto Marathon.

He will be running a 42km race and he is confident that he will come home with victory.

To fulfil his dream of becoming one of the best athletes in South Africa, Jack says he will continue to compete in the local, provincial and the national running races held in this country.

His passion and commitment to running has seen him finding his home in the Tsakane Athletics Club.

He became an official member of the club in July this year.

Jack is appealing for the community’s support when he will be running in the Soweto Marathon on November 2.
