Mambas beaten by Sporo

The Tsamaya second round league game between Mambas and Sporo left Mambas looking for a place to hide on Sunday.

The game was played at Tlakula Ground in KwaThema with wind directing the ball to all directions.

It was clear that the players on the pitch struggled to get the ball to the right direction due to the strong wind on the day.

After the game, many supporters who braved the wind to give support to their teams questioned if the wind influenced the game’s overall score.

Sporo’s 10 goals were put behind the net during the first half of the game.

Thulani Masilela scored four goals, Sifiso Mkhomazi scored two goals, two goals were scored by George Ngoma while Buti Khaya scored one goal and Oupa Bhandu scored one goal.

The whistle was blown to end the first half with Sporo leading by 10-0.

The second half of the game saw the Mambas trying their best to register a goal under their name.

It was about 20 minutes before the end of the game when Mambas’ Imosoto Simba scored a goal for his team.

As the Mambas rejoiced after the goal, little did they know that Buti Khaya was going to score the 11th goal for his team.

The game ended with an 11-1 score, making Sporo the winners with a difference of 10 goals.
