Tsamaya Cup champions
The final cup game between Tsakane Civil Servants and Thembi FC was played at Malandela Ground on Sunday.
The stadium was filled with the supporters for both teams and those of other teams that play in the Tsamaya League.
Thembi attacked from the first minute of the game and showed that it was eager to win the game.
The first goal of the game scored by Thembi’s Justice Hlongwane during the first half encouraged the players to attack even more than they did before.
However, Thembi’s players wasted many chances that they had to score another goal.
Tsakane turned the tables when Denny Seage scored an equalising goal for his team.
The second goal to extend the lead was put behind the net by Tsakane’s Sandile Mahlangu and the Tsakane’s third goal was scored by Geshoun Gous.
The referee ended the game and Tsakane was crowned the Tsamaya Super 12 Cup champions after beating Thembi FC by 3-1.
