Club Bolton develops young soccer players.

Former players develop new players

Bolton Villa FC under 13 trained very hard on Monday, while preparing for their last Springs Local Football Association league game.

The team was started by Club Bolton, a former soccer team which was turned into a social club in 2003.

The members of Club Bolton saw a gap and an opportunity to establish a soccer team as their way of giving back to the community.

Abram Putswane, coaches the young players, he was the goal keeper before the team was ended in the late eighties.

“In 2012 we took the decision to open a soccer team, where we can nurture young talent and we currently have 40 children playing from under 11 to the supers category,” said Abram.

The team uses KwaThema Sports Complex as their home ground, training and playing their games in the same venue.

The boys are confident they will climb from the fourth position they currently occupy, when the final is played on April 28.
