Disability Awareness Month runs from November 3 to December 3
Various sporting codes will be played on Saturday.
Kwa-Thema – The Kwa-Thema Disability Club will host the Gauteng Sports Association for the Physically Disabled (GSAPD) at the Kwa-Thema Stadium on Saturday.
The day will celebrate Disability Awareness Month through a disability sports awareness programme.
Club coach Aubrey Mathibela said they invite the community to join them on the day when different sporting codes will entertain them.
“We hope this will help get more children to join the team because parents and community members will see how able the club members are to play soccer, javelin, discus, shot put, and run,” he said.
Mathibela said they also hope to use the day as a recruitment day.
