Reservoirs supplied water by Rand Water are experiencing low water levels

Metro spokesperson Zweli Dlamini said the insufficient supply is already affecting residents of Tsakani and surrounding areas.

Kwatsaduza – Technicians are closely monitoring reservoirs supplied water by Rand Water which are experiencing low water levels due to high water demands.

The insufficient supply is already affecting residents of Tsakani and surrounding areas.

The restoration of the service to normality will depend on the improvement of supply from Rand Water.

Tsakani:
• Langaville
• Geluksdal
• Labore and
• Withok

Water tankers have been dispatched to temporarily supply water to the affected areas. Residents will be updated on any developments through the city’s digital platforms.

Metro spokesperson Zweli Dlamini said technicians are also attending to a burst water pipe which has resulted in a supply interruption affecting residents in Kempton Park.

Thus far the estimated restoration time is 18:00. However, this time may change due to the current rainy weather conditions which may delay the process.

• Esther Park
• Edleen
• Chloorkop
• Terenure
• Birch Acres and
• Van Riebeeck Park
