October is National Breast Cancer Awareness Month, a time dedicated to raising awareness about cancer and educating people about it.

They invited nurses to teach the staff. Teacher Landiwe Mosete said the school saw it fit to roll out the campaign.

“We have lost friends and colleagues, know those who conquered it, and others still battling it.

“Through this campaign, we hope people will take better care of their health and have regular health screenings.

“We should all remember that it is easier to conquer cancer when diagnosed in its earlier stages,” she added.

They wore black and pink attire to commemorate the month.
