Unified Scout Group celebrates teachers with Kwa-Thema Crèche

The group still accepts youth members interested in joining the Scouts. Experience adventure and fun while learning.

Kwa-Thema – The Unified Scout Group celebrated International Teacher’s Day at Kwa-Thema Crèche. As part of their drive, the members donated vegetables to the teachers to show gratitude for their daily nurturing of young people.

Scout group leader Tebogo Rakgabyane said the smiles on their faces were worth the trouble.

“Unified Scout Group is about serving the community to the best of our ability.

“This drive was only the beginning of much bigger things for our beloved community.”

The group also shared spinach with homes on Wauchope and Lesia streets.

The group’s mottos:
• Stand tall (Meerkats: five and six).
• Do your best (Cubs: seven to 10).
• Be prepared (Scouts: 11 to 17).
• Service (Rovers: 18 to 30).

The group still accepts youth members interested in joining the Scouts. Experience adventure and fun while learning.
