Suspect in the NetSo burglary finally apprehended

The suspect stole clothing, cameras, studio equipment and artefacts valued at about R60 000 on May 10.

Duduza – The police made a breakthrough in the NetSo business burglary.

The NetSo gallery is owned by Mandla Mbamba, a clothing designer known for producing several kasi clothing brands.

The gallery is a top hangout for up-and-coming art enthusiasts and usually has art, music, and photography exhibitions.

The fashion shop was burgled on May 10. The suspect stole clothing, cameras, studio equipment and artefacts valued at about R60 000.

Duduza police spokesperson Sergeant Harry Manaka confirmed the arrest.

“The suspect will soon appear before the Nigel Magistrate’s Court. Investigations continue,” he said.
