Netball team needs World Cup tickets and accommodation
The Netball World Cup will be held in Cape Town in July.
Kwa-Thema – With the Netball World Cup starting on July 28 in Cape Town, the Real Twist Ladies netball team from Kwa-Thema would like to appear as netball legends from Ekurhuleni.
Real Twist is a team with members aged 50 and older, and they are asking for ticket donations to watch and support the Proteas netball team.
Team member Ruby Peter said, “It will be the first time in history that South Africa hosts the Netball World Cup, and as legends, we feel we can’t miss it.”
She said it was a rare opportunity, but some ladies couldn’t afford to buy the tickets, while others struggled to pay for accommodation.
The team would appreciate any help they can get.
