Agency to host a Miss Anti-GBV

All women across Ekurhuleni encouraged to audition for pageant

Kwa-Thema – Black Fusion Modelling and Entertainment Agency calls on models to audition for Miss Anti-GBV Ekurhuleni 2023, which takes place on November 4.

The auditions will take place at the Kwa-Thema Community Room on March 4 and 5 from 11:00-13:00.

Women of different body sizes, shapes and heights are encouraged to audition.

“This is for women, and no woman should be discouraged to audition because they think being a model requires a certain body type or shape,” said founder Lefa Ntuli.

The competition aims to get women to exercise their power and voice.

“Men should be educated not to take advantage of women or abuse them. They should learn that ‘no’ means ‘no’, and that should be final,” said Ntuli.

Ntuli said the agency tries to lessen crime, teenage pregnancies and drug abuse in the community.

A model at the agency, Simphiwe Mnguni, said, “As women, we need to stand up for ourselves and not be dependent on men. Our voice should be heard and we shouldn’t stand for abuse by men.”

The categories to audition for:
• Miss Petite – age five to eight

• Miss Little – age nine to 12

• Miss Pre-teen – age 13 to 15

• Miss Teen – age 16 to 19

• Miss Senior – age 20+

The theme for the auditions is blue denim with a white top. All models are encouraged to bring high heels.
