Langaville football club to host friendly games to raise funds

Langaville- Shine On Us Football Club will host local teams for a fundraiser on February 4. The teams will only play friendly games.

Coach Vusi Radinne said, “We won’t be having a soccer tournament so there won’t be any prizes given by us on the day.

“We will only play friendly games to raise funds for the team.

“We are still a new team and in need of soccer kits and training equipment.”

The friendly games will be played by two divisions, U11 and U13.

Radinne said they have invited teams from Geluksdal, Tsakani and Kwa-Thema.

The club was launched in June but still does not have soccer kits because they can’t afford them. The team received a donation of soccer balls last month after a ward committee member requested donations for local sports teams.

Radinne asked those willing to donate to the team to call him on 076 613 9174.

The friendly games fundraiser will be played at Ntokozweni Sports Ground from 08:00.
Tickets will be sold.
