Matrics 2022 here’s a PLUG, access your results online

The Matric Results Online System allows learners to conveniently access their matric results, anytime, anywhere.

Matriculants in Gauteng can access their results online using the Matric Results Online Service. This is a convenient way to access results using any device such as a cellphone or computer.

The Matric Results Online System allows learners to conveniently access their matric results, anytime, anywhere, once the results are released. The system is created by the Gauteng Department of e-Government, a department tasked with digitising and modernising government services. It is one of the many services that citizens can access digitally in order to save time. The services can be accessed through the Gauteng website www.gauteng.gov.za, here citizens can access a number of digital services.

MEC for COGTA, e-Government, Research and Development, Mr Mzi Khumalo said the department was championing digitisation to respond to the changes brought about by the 4th Industrial Revolution.

“Our young people are smart and tech savvy. They are in the forefront of technological advancements. This we can see on how they have transformed the use of social media and other online platforms. It is through this realisation that we decided to offer matric results online on a platform they are familiar with,” said Khumalo.

The system is cost effective, safe and user friendly. It also gives privacy to matriculants which is a necessity when viewing matric results. Therefore, the department encourages the matriculant Class of 2022 to use the system and view their matric results online.
