16-year-old arrested for stealing late grandfather’s gun
Teenager charged with theft and possession of a firearm.
Kwa-Thema – Police have arrested a 16-year-old boy after his late grandfather’s firearm went missing on Monday.The suspect’s grandmother informed the police that the firearm went missing from the safe and suspected that her grandson had taken it.

She told the police that only she and her grandson knew about it.
Kwa-Thema police spokesperson Constable Nkululeko Magudulela said police interrogated the grandson who confirmed that he took the gun.
“He had hidden the firearm under his bed. The suspect was detained and released into his parent’s custody. He is facing charges of theft and possession,” he explained.
