Activation of new water tower to cause temporary water interruptions

Kwa-Thema – Residents of Kwa-Thema are advised there will be a water interruption from 19:00 on June 14, until 06:00 on June 15.
This is to make way for the Kwa-Thema water tower to be activated.
The City of Ekurhuleni will be connecting the Kwa-Thema Reservoir to the newly built water tower to enhance water supply pressure in Kwa-Thema.
As a result, the water supply will temporarily be affected in the following areas:
• The whole of Kwa-Thema except Kwa-Thema Ext Three, and
• Mini Selcourt.
The affected residents and businesses are encouraged to store sufficient water to mitigate the situation.
