Unemployed youth trained in construction

The week-long training was offered by Kwatsaduza Skills Development.

Kwa-Thema – One hundred and eleven unemployed residents recently received certificates after completing training in construction courses.

The centre partnered with NHBRC, the Department of Human Settlement and Gauteng Enterprise Propeller to train the Kwatsaduza residents in housing value chain, health and safety, technical building and emergency building.
Centre founder Duduzile Zondo said this year the centre is planning to train youth, women, SMMEs and veterans.
“We are aiming to empower unemployed residents,” she added.
