Matric was a great yet challenging experience for top achiever

She is one of the top three achievers in her school.

Kwa-Thema – Matriculant Sibongile Mabena from Kenneth Masekela Secondary School got three distinctions in her final exams.
She is one of the top three achievers in her school.
The 17-year-old was featured in the African Reporter to motivate her peers to work hard at the start of exam season.
During the school’s award ceremony last year, she received academic certificates for geography, life science, English and life orientation.

Throughout her schooling journey, she has received 29 academic certificates, five trophies and four medals.
Sibongile has also won two spelling bee awards, including a medal for position four in the Pfuxani Spelling Bee, six certificates for sports and 15 medals.
She received her first academic certificate in mathematics when she was in Grade R.
She said the matric journey has been a great, yet challenging and strenuous experience.
