Two men shot and robbed of vehicles

The two victims travelled home from work in separate vehicles.

Kwa-Thema – Two men were shot and their cars stolen as they arrived home in Rest in Peace, Kwa-Thema, on Tuesday evening.
The two victims travelled home from work in separate vehicles, a red VW Polo Vivo and a white Toyota Hilux.
The victims parked both vehicles inside the yard at an address along Pule Street.
At around 21:00, while one of them was in the house, the other ran in screaming that he had been shot in the thigh.
“A witness, who was also in the house at the time, alleged she saw three men, all carrying guns.
“They forced their way into the house and demanded car keys, cash and cellphones from all three victims,” explained Const Nkululeko Magudulela, corporate communications official for the Kwa-Thema Police Station.

“Both gunshot victims are in a stable condition, receiving medical attention,” added Magudulela.
Police are pleading with anyone who might have information that will lead to the capture and prosecution of the perpetrators to contact their nearest police station.
