Local DJ to raise awareness through tournament

Langaville – Lunga Kenny Mkundlu, a 21-year-old music producer, DJ and event manager popularly known as King K, will host a soccer tournament to address social issues.

“The drug has affected many families and the community to a point where recently a couple of abusers lost their lives.

Covid-19 awareness campaign runs smoothly

“The soccer tournament is aimed at addressing and creating awareness about the dangers of drug abuse,” he said.
There will be entertainment for participants.
“What counts in life is not the mere fact that we have lived. It is the impact we have made in the lives of others that will determine the significance of the life we lead,” he added.

Soccer academy partners with pharmacy for Covid-19 awareness campaign

He started his career by hosting poetry sessions and community-building events.
Winners will walk away with a R3 200 cash prize along with 14 King K Heatwave tickets.
