Author raises funds to help others

The initiative is aimed at raising funds through the sales of his latest books, The Key to Live the Life of Worship and A 21-Day Devotional to Unlock the Heart of Surrender.

KwaThema – Gospel musician and author Churchill Selatole launched the Church Musicians Covid-19 Relief last Sunday.

The initiative is aimed at raising funds through the sales of his latest books, The Key to Live the Life of Worship and A 21-Day Devotional to Unlock the Heart of Surrender.

The musician, who is also a church minister, has been moved by the plight of fellow ministers in the area.

“It pains me to see many more people losing their jobs, especially musicians and artists.

“I decided to help raise funds to help those in need during this challenging pandemic.

“Through the sales we will be able to make a difference in the lives of others.

“This is the only way I know to make a difference without tampering with the Covid-19 regulations,” he explained

Churchill said for every three books he sells, he will be able to donate grocery vouchers valued at R500.

“I have managed to sell 15 books this past week, which will make it possible to feed five families,” he said.
