“Growing up my love for music was inspired by my cousin Gauta Ncholo, but I only started to take it seriously in 2017.

“I make hip-hop music that touches the heart and represents the kind of a person I am,” says Taded.

He dropped his much-anticipated Extended Play (EP) in June 2019, titled ‘Girls Are My Drugs’ and has never looked back since.

In February he was part of the Music & Awareness Campaign, a high school tour which addressed and educated high school learners about domestic and physical abuse.

“The tour taught me that teamwork is essential, obstacles we encountered we overcame from working as a team.

“I also got to learn a whole lot more about gender-based violence and that has motivated me to use my platform to speak out against such acts and educate people about such.

“It is important for the younger generation to understand that any form of abuse is unacceptable and that we are equal, therefore, we ought to treat each other with respect at all times,” he adds.

He is currently working on his second EP titled Life Is A Journey, which is set to be released on November 1.

“The second EP will showcase my growth as an artist, my fans will get to know me better as I talk about my personal experiences, and this is definitely one of my favourite projects.

“I want to be one of the greatest musicians to ever come out of South Africa, and to own my own record label one day,” he says.

His music is available on all digital platforms.
