Learners offered more opportunities to catch up

Ntsane believes Institute of Mathematics can help learners get the best possible marks even though the school year has been disturbed.

Institute of Mathematics has re-engineered its programmes to ensure that learners in Grades Eight to 12 of Kwatsaduza are prepared for their exams.

The programme, previously known as Ntsane Masiloane School Enrichment Programmes, was established in 2011 and has been offering extra classes in mathematics, accounting and physical science to date.

“We have helped over 5 000 learners with the programmes.

“And many of them improved their marks from level two to level seven in the selected learning areas,” says Ntsane Masiloane, the founder.

Level seven, the highest level a learner can achieve, is a mark between 80 and 100 per cent.

He believes that the disruption of the school calendar due to Covid-19 lockdown regulations, “should not be a stumbling block to the youth of today’s future.

“Learners must still prepare themselves for the upcoming years, regardless of the pandemic.”

The institute is now offering extra classes full-time, from 8am to 5pm, Mondays to Saturdays at Kotane Street in KwaThema while ensuring precautions to curb the spread of Covid-19 are in place.

Learners who wish to be assisted in mathematics, maths literacy, accounting and physical science can contact Ntsane on 076 889 6002.
