Local artist wants to make a difference
Springs-based DJ, sound engineer and music producer Jan Gabriel Ndhlovu, better known as Skaps the Deejay in the East Rand music scene, has just released his new single Uthando featuring house vocalist Sbahle.
The new single was composed by the DJ himself and written by Sbahle.The song was aimed at reminding listeners of how beautiful love is and can be.
Uthando is the isiZulu translation for love.

The concept of the single was developed by Sbahle.
Sbhale says: “The song speaks of how love makes me feel and how love makes me weak in the knees.
Every time I see the one I love, I get shy.

“Determined to represent the East Rand, Skaps the Deejay has been consistently releasing house mixes every week since the national lockdown began to keep fans entertained and remind them of the good old days when going out and partying was allowed.
He has since released numerous singles featuring various artists that also reside in the East Rand, including Ntomb’zodwa, featuring DEXTER.
