Keamogetswe proud of two successful food drives in less than a month

“We are continuously looking for contributions so that we reach even more households.”

Kwa-Thema based Keamogetswe M Foundation will not let anything stand in the way of helping those in need.

Despite struggling to help 200 families in need, a recent development has meant that they can possible help 5000 households by the end of June.

“We are proud to announce that Rise Against Hunger, a Johannesburg based food bank that serves food and other requisites all over the African continent, will be supplying our organisation with food on a weekly basis,” says Keamgestwe Masike, founder of the foundation.

“We are going to reach out to other parts of Gauteng and other provinces in South Africa.

“Our current mission is to assist feeding schemes in all public schools. The majority of children in our communities depend on the food they receive at school,” he adds.

“We also want to engage in partnerships with small businesses in our community, so that together we can make a difference.

“The Door Church also recently donated with 100 loaves of bread which became a boost in our initiative.

“We are continuously looking for contributions so that we reach even more households.”
