This book was published in 2013, I first read it in 2018 during my second year at university, and trust me when I say reading this book was the best decision I ever made for ‘me’.

I recommend it to anyone, especially if you are in your 20s and trying to figure the world around you and your true self.

Listed as a number one New York bestseller it is written by author and life coach Jen Sincero.

I will say it is quite a long read with 27 chapters, but each chapter offers valuable advice, are very engaging and easy to read.

This self-help book offers great insight into how to discover your hidden potential, overcome insecurities and find your place in the world.
Sincero shares some of her personal life stories and provides practical exercises, tapping into her witty humour.

The book explores self-sabotaging habits and getting over your fears.

She tackles taking big risks and being creative, learning how to make money and living your life with purpose and love.

How to achieve and set your short and long term goals is also an important theme in this book.

When reading this book be sure to have a notepad and a pen with you so you can take notes of the inspirational thoughts she shares with her readers.
