Duduza – A pastor from Duduza has written the first-ever book in South Africa that gives churches the tools for effective governance, management, administration and critical compliance issues of their churches.

Seeiso Manzi, founder of Highpoint Church Resources, which has been in existence for 23 years, says the book originated from the research he gathered for his masters.

“This book is very well researched and provides insight on how churches can function properly and effectively.

“And it is one of a kind in South Africa because many of you only find authors of such books from abroad. We do not have our own, therefore, I am very proud to have been able to produce such a product,” says Manzi.

He adds that the book isn’t only for church people or pastors but also for those who are running non-profit organisations.

“This book, I feel, is a great need as many people are struggling when it comes to church administration.

“It will give light to these fake churches because normally a church must have a governing body which will question some of the decisions made by pastors,” he says.

According to him, the book gives insight on the best-practice model on how pastors should inspire and direct their leaders and congregation to their God-given vision, how church boards should govern the church, how church management committees should manage the church and how church treasurers should manage the finances.

One of his biggest achievements was being invited to Zanzibar for a seminar because of the success of his book.

The book is available nationwide.
