KTSEO is at it again

“Today we are here because this school performed well and produced good matric results.

“We want to motivate the learners to work hard and to commit to hard work from the first term.

“We want to remind them that just because they come from the township, or from a poor background, this doesn’t mean they can’t be successful.

“Speakers who are here today are all products of KwaThema, and want to share some of the knowledge they acquired in their respective fields,” says Mboyi.

The purpose of the meeting was also to introduce learners to different types of careers.

“I am a principal in the real estate company, and therefore wants to share what a real estate person does, and that people can actually have proper careers as real estate agents, or selling property,” she adds.

Organisation continues to provide funding for students

Retired marketing and communication specialist Dexter Mahlangu says: “Just because you are a product of the township, should not mean you cannot reach your full potential.

“We as an organisation wants to ensure that every deserving learner gets an opportunity to acquire higher education, because as we all know, the national funding scheme doesn’t always pay on time.

“Most learners struggle during this period of registration.”
