Kwatsaduza – A man has been arrested on suspicion of the murder of a Springs Public Order Policing (POP) member on Tuesday.
Off-duty WO Jerry Lewis (48) was found killed on Monday at Noise Dale farm in Nigel.

The service vehicle he was travelling in was found idling next to his body.
Brig Mathapelo Peters says the body was found by a passer-by who noticed the police car parked on the farm and went to investigate.

“Upon investigation, he found the body half naked in the dam on the farm.
“Preliminary investigation revealed that the officer was pushed into the dam and drowned,” she explains.
