Duduza – Three young men, aged 19, 23 and 24, were arrested for being in possession of drugs by the EMPD Drug Enforcement Unit during and operation in Duduza on Sunday.
EMPD spokesperson Kobeli Mokheseng says the police stopped and searched a suspicious-looking trio of men found idling on Linda Street and found them in possession of nyaope and dagga.

“They found one paper-wrapped nyaope packet and 17 ziplock bags, one loose bag and 65 paper-wrapped packets of dagga valued at R2 540 and R743 in cash.
“The trio is being detained at the Duduza Police Station, with their seized prohibited merchandise.

“All three suspects are facing charges of possession and dealing in illicit substance/s.
“They are expected to appear in the Nigel Magistrate’s Court soon,” he explains.
