Social club donates soccer gear to Thabile Football Club
“We decided that as part of the community, we should lend a hand and make their dreams come true this festive season by donating soccer gear."
Tsakane – Thabile Football Club received a soccer gear donation from one of the local men’s social club, Bambanani Men’s Club, over the weekend.
This was part of the club’s year-end outreach initiative they host every year.
Club secretary Billy Molawa says they identified that the football club was struggling to raise funds to buy soccer gear.

“We decided that as part of the community, we should lend a hand and make their dreams come true this festive season by donating soccer gear.
“We appreciate that the team is removing the young boys from our streets and keeping them active.
“The little that we felt we could do to thank them was by making the small contribution,” he explains.
Molawa says he is calling on other organisations and business people in the area to help the team however possible.

“This could be through transportation to their away games or buying them lunch.
“These are our children and the team cannot survive if we don’t help where we can,” he adds.
