KwaThema – Two men, aged 23 and 25, have been arrested for being in possession of a hijacked car on Monday.
It is alleged on the day the police received a tip-off of a suspicious-looking vehicle which was parked inside a yard on Peu Street, KwaThema.
On arrival, they found a white Toyota Corolla which was circulated and it was discovered it was hijacked in Hillbrow.

KwaThema police spokesperson Const Media Khoza says the two suspects were arrested in connection with the vehicle and detained at KwaThema Police Station.
“They will appear in the Springs Magistrate’s Court soon,” she explains.
