Driver cornered and arrested after attempting to flee from police
The 29-year-old male driver of the Mazda was detained at Tsakane police station with charges of inconsiderate driving and fleeing from the police registered against him.
Tsakane – On July 20 at around 2pm, the EMPD Community Policing and Public Order Policing units sighted a white Mazda driving recklessly during a routine patrol in Tsakane.

According to EMPD spokesperson chief Supt Wilfred Kgasago, the metro police tried to stop the Mazda, but the driver continued driving recklessly in an attempt to evade arrest. After a few minutes, the Mazda was cornered and the driver handcuffed.
The 29-year-old male driver of the Mazda was detained at Tsakane police station with charges of inconsiderate driving and fleeing from the police registered against him.
He is expected to appear in the Tsakane Magistrate’s Court on Monday.
