"Dates and venues for our meetings will appear in the African Reporter."

Kwatsaduza – CanSurvive Cancer Support is extending an invitation to people with albinism to attend their weekly cancer support group meetings.

The meetings are held at various venues in KwaThema, Tsakane, Daveyton, Wattville and Duduza.

Ronnie Nkabinde of CanSurvive says people with albinism are vulnerable to skin cancer.

“During the support group meetings, attendees are given information on cancer and how to cope with life after cancer.

“We also have experts, survivors and recovering patients attending the sessions and sharing their information,” he says.

Nkabinde also stressed that CanSurvive is not a patients’ union, but an organisation rooted in keeping cancer patients and survivors informed about the disease.
