Passengers asked to use Top Centre and Springs Station taxi ranks
There is a Toyota Quantum that robbers use to masquerade as taxi drivers, only to rob the passengers.
KwaThema – The Springs Taxi Association executive has agreed to have patrol squads in Springs after the rise of 4 + 1 taxis wrongfully operating in Wright Park, New Era Station, Selcourt, Pollak Park, Hlanganani, Nuffield, Cassadale, Geduld and Springs Town.

Private vehicles, including Toyota Avanzas have also been spotted operating. The drivers claim they are staff vehicles. The association has asked them to cease their illegal operation.
The association has also asked passengers to stop boarding taxis on Third Street and use the Top Centre and Springs Station as there is a Toyota Quantum that robbers use to masquerade as taxi drivers, only to rob the passengers.
