Suspects found with drugs arrested
Kgasago says the suspects were charged for possession and dealing in narcotics at Tsakane and Brakpan police stations.
Tsakane – Three people have been arrested in possession of nyaope with a street value of R6 000 on Friday.
This was during the EMPD Drug Enforcement Unit routine patrols arrested in the area.
EMPD spokesperson Chief Supt Wilfred Kgasago says at about 9am on Amanzimtoti Street at Extension Four the first suspect was arrested after being found in possession of nyaope valued at R300.

“The second dealer was nabbed at about 9.40am along Scotts Place on Victoria Street in Brakpan.
“The suspect was found in possession of 23 knotted packets valued at R4 000,” he explains.
On the same day at noon, a 55-year-old woman was arrested in possession of 36 packets of nyaope worth R1 800 in Madadeni Street in Tsakane.

Kgasago says the suspects were charged for possession and dealing in narcotics at Tsakane and Brakpan police stations.
“They are expected to appear in the respective magistrate’s courts on Monday,” he says.
