Hip-hop artist pays homage to fallen hero

Hip-hop artist T-Mansion is set to release his new EP.

Tsakane – Hip-hop artist Thabo Simelane, also known as T-Mansion, is set to release his much-anticipated EP, titled Tribute to baba Jamzar Msiza.

The EP will officially drop in April, but the lead single is already listed at local radio stations.

Msiza was a prominent businessman in Tsakane who was brutally murdered in the ’80s.

There is a foundation in Tsakane named after him.

“The Jamzar Mabhoko Foundation was established to keep his memory alive and in remembrance of the service he did for the people of Tsakane,” says T-Mansion.

Ikwekwezi, which is the lead single from the EP, has received positive feedback.

T-Mansion says his work is mainly influenced by baba Jamzar, who was a role model for the people of Tsakane.

“From my research I have found that he was a community man who loved helping his people, especially the elderly.

“Today people still remember the things he did for our community,” says T-Mansion.
