Our Tango Dancing School invites Kwatsaduza youth to their dance competition and pageant
Nhlapho says the benefits of being in the school include keeping fit and busy.
KwaThema – Professional dancer Penwell Nhlapho is calling for participants to enter the Our Tango Dancing School’s Ballroom and Latin American Match Dance competition.
The competition will be held at KwaThema Soup Kitchen in Overline, located at 9995 Mzwakele Street, at 3pm.
In addition to this, they will also be having a juvenile and junior beauty pageant.

Nhlapho says, “When we had our last competition last year, we noticed that it was only people from our school. We decided to have a pageant so that we may be able to include people who are not in our school or do not dance.”
Nhlapho says the benefits of being in the school include keeping fit and busy.
“This is a great extramural activity, especially for members who are still in school, as they stay fit and away from drugs and alcohol,” he explains.
Penwell says that thanks to his experience of travelling the world and performing on many stages, he knew he would be able to save lives and make a difference in his community through dance.
