KwaThema -The residents came out in numbers to show support to the family of Sbaba Masemola who helped many people in the community with their needs.

Kutlwano Masemola said his father died in hospital on September 16, 2018, due to an illness. Sbaba was part of the Ndimande Street committee in OverLine.

He helped residents who had electricity, water and other domestic issues, to be solved speedily by the municipality.

He also involved himself in programmes that alleviated crime and substance abuse in the community.

Kgotso Pooe says Masemola was a true comrade and a servant of the people.

As the community, they had to come out in numbers to celebrate a person they considered a hero in his own right.

The community has benefited from his hard work.

Pooe says it is only right that the community “comes out in numbers to celebrate one of our own”.
