KwaThema – It is alleged the mother threatened her husband that he will never see them again.
A neighbour says he received a phone call from the husband informing him about the mother’s threats.

“I immediately went to the house to check what was happening.
“When I knocked on the door there was no answer. I opened the kitchen door and felt something blocking the door.
“I managed to push it open and found the seven-year-old by the door and the 17-year-old not far from her sister.
“I found the mother still alive and immediately called the police and EMS,” he says.

KwaThema police spokesperson Captain Thabo Sibuyi says they are investigating a case of murder.
“We are also investigating what type of poison was used.
“The mother is recovering in hospital,” he says.
