Ayanda MVP from 947 is sharing good vibes and feel good stories

JOBURG – Radio host and entertainer Ayanda MVP had her Aero-to-melt-in-moment with an aspiring DJ, Raeez Kuhn from Sophiatown, who always had a dream of meeting a well-known DJ and Ayanda fulfilled that for him.

Giving back and feel-good stories were all the rage last month with Nestle Aero.

Melting the hearts of South Africans all over and spreading the message of positivity, they’ve partnered up with a few well-known personalities to get the message out there.

Radio host and entertainer Ayanda MVP had her Aero-to-melt-in-moment with an aspiring DJ, Raeez Kuhn from Sophiatown, who always had a dream of meeting a well-known DJ and Ayanda fulfilled that for him.

“I met a young man by the name of Eezo. He is a blind DJ and obviously, for me it was something that was quite surprising, to actually know that there was someone who was able to look past their disability to do this thing,” she said

Feeling good about it, Ayanda said meeting Eezo made her appreciate all the things she already had.

“There are a lot of things that we always complain about, and as much as we are able, we still don’t appreciate these things. He made me appreciate being able to see and appreciate him for wanting to push through his own boundaries and limitations.”

As a leader in her craft and a woman at that, she would like to inspire other people just like Eezo to hone their craft and believe in themselves.

“I want to make sure that I share my knowledge when it comes to being a DJ and especially for young ladies. There are a lot of females coming up now which excites me a lot. But what I really want to do is push more females playing hip-hop and RnB.”

She mentioned that as much as the country was enjoying South African house beats now, she wanted to push the commercial sounds too. A Sandton resident, she has plans of launching educational DJ’ing next year.

“I am teaching a few girls under wraps but I want to first see if I can be a good teacher. I want to make sure I’m really good at it and it opens me up to coaching and actually help ladies find their feet in the DJ world. I will definitely launch it officially next year.”

She added that pushing positivity and sharing good stories was something really needed in these trying times.

“Keep going and keep moving more life.”
