Dra Mekaar members return for monthly meeting in Secunda
The next Dra Mekaar meeting will take place on August 28, where members will be going on an outing to the Hendrina Old Age Home.
Dra Mekaar members were welcomed back to its monthly meeting at the NG Gemeente-Goedehoop in Secunda on August 14.
The day’s get-together was opened with scripture and prayer by Ben Moolman.
A big thank you went out to members who donated tinned food that will be delivered to the Hendrina Old Age Home.
In total, 353 canned foods were collected. Members are reminded of the Hendrina Old Age Home outing that will happen on August 28.
There are only 30 spots available for this outing, and an RSVP is compulsory. Transport can be arranged for those that do not have.
Belated birthday wishes went out to Tanya van den Berg, Maria Meyer, Hendrik Keyser, Sarel Erwee, Emma Pieterse, Barbara Barnsley, Koekie Keyser, Clara Needham, Ben Moolman, Ken Jacoby, Tilla Terblanché, Hannetjie De Klerk, and Elise van Rensburg.
