A source at Free State Stars has told Phakaaathi that the club is looking to sign former player Sello Japhta in the January transfer window.

Japhta was sold to the Buccaneers along with Justice Chabalala and Ayanda Nkosi in June, but the 20-year old hasn’t has much game time at the senior team, being used mostly in the MultiChoice Diski team.

“There have already been talks with Stars management to bring Sello back into the club. The team has not been doing well and there is a need to strengthen the squad. If you remember well he was one of the key players in the club last season and the coach (Giovanni Solinas) likes him very much,” said the source.

Ea Lla Koto have been struggling in the league this season – currently at the bottom, having registered two wins, five draws and seven losses in 14 games.
