SuperSport United midfielder Reneilwe Letsholonyane says getting the season off on the wrong foot has been difficult for them.

Matsatsantsa a Pitori have only managed one win in four opening games, having lost to 1-0 to Platinum Stars in their league opener, bowing out of the MTN8 at the hands of rivals Mamelodi Sundowns with a 3-1 scoreline, and drawing 0-0 with Chippa United. However, Stuart Baxter’s men defeated Maritzburg United on Wednesday to register their first win of the season.

“It hasn’t been easy. I can simply say we are getting there personally, and, as a team, as soon as we get a lot of wins, we will be a good team,” said the 24-year-old veteran midfielder.

Letsholonyane has played in all SuperSport matches since his arrival from Kaizer Chiefs.

“Four games since I have been here, and for me it has been a great experience, obviously with challenges, and what I have expected with working with our coach and some of the players previously,” he added.
